I've frequented Typhoon since they initially opened many years back. Great food, fast service, great prices. I get the Imperial combo and add extra veggies. Try it sometime.

I order this through Dinner Delivered since we were all at work on Good Friday. Everyone agreed that we should treat ourselves and I am very happy that we did. The food was still warm and tasted as expected. I had the small chicken entrée with the white sauce, teriyaki sauce, and hot sauce. I chose fried rice over steamed but another lady got the steamed rice and said it was cooked perfectly. No complaints for our group that ordered and decided we should make this a Friday tradition.
I have been eating here since it first opened many many years ago! Their meats are always cooked perfectly (my favorite being the shrimp) The rice and veggies are a good portion and their cooking sauce and white sauce are amazing! I get the shrimp, chicken and steak combo and it's enough to share with my boyfriend!! There's plenty of seating inside the restaurant as well.
I haven't eaten here in several years and wanted some hibachi style food, so my husband and I dropped by today. This is an unpretentious budget friendly spot in the middle of Red Bank. You order at the counter and they will bring it out to you. They also do take-out orders. The menu is standard hibachi, with the main difference being how many meats you want to be included with your meal. I ordered steamed rice. Hubby and I both got steak and chicken. The meals come with a broth soup and mixed vegetables. The portions are very generous for the price. Mine was big enough for lunch and dinner. I only had a couple of quibbles. They do not have a kids' menu. We got the small chicken dinner for my daughter, which was a lot of food for her. No big deal, really. My husband was more than happy to take it home and eat it later but something you might want to know. Also the sauce is very sweet. Sweeter than any other hibachi restaurant I have eaten at. When we go back, I think I will ask for less sauce but that is a matter of personal taste. I also don't like white sauce but my husband loves it and says it is very good here. The service was great. The waitress was super nice to my daughter and checked on us far more often than I would have expected for a counter service restaurant.
